New Storm Water Pollution Module in Development at
Virtual Project Manager Cities User Group

Wrightwood, Calif. - July 20th, 2011 - Virtual Project Manager city users from across Southern California gathered at San Marcos City Hall on Wednesday, July 13th to meet with representatives from the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, La Mesa, San Marcos and Del Mar to lay the groundwork for VPM's new storm water pollution module.

Current Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) require detailed analysis and reporting of storm water runoff at a jobsite that can be tedious and time consuming to produce. VPM's goal is to simplify this process for its users by collaborating with local water boards to create a more efficient way for contractors to create and send their plans with their new SWPPP module. This new module will simplify jobsite reporting of storm water runoff by providing VPM users with a simple automated form that can be electronically submitted directly to regional water boards.

VPM's creator, Lex Zuber, was very excited with the outcome of the first VPM user group meeting. "This was an extremely productive workshop," said Lex. "Our goal with these user group meetings is to create a better, simpler management system for cities. We not only pinpointed some wishlist items from our users, but the cities also shared some of their tips on various practices."

With the valuable input and feedback from this and future user group meetings, VPM hopes to continue to develop innovative new modules and features for the VPM platform. More information about the VPM system can be found at www.virtual-pm.com
