City of La Mesa to Host Virtual Project Manager City User Group Meeting

Wrightwood, Calif. - October 4, 2011 - Virtual Project Manager will once again be holding a meeting with city users from across Southern California in La Mesa, CA on Wednesday, October 12th at 1:00pm. Representatives from the cities of La Mesa, Rancho Cucamonga, San Marcos and San Diego will be in attendance as the group reviews the next items for improving VPM’s city management tools.

Virtual Project Manager’s President and CEO, Lex Zuber, will guide city users through a variety of topics in an effort to enhance VPM’s effectiveness and functionality. On the agenda for this user group meeting will be the VPM Stormwater Module, which will simplify jobsite reporting of storm water runoff, pursuant to the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP). Attendees will also discuss the new VPM Time and Materials Module, which will help contractors track T&M sheets from the field. In addition, the group will discuss “Best Practices” and other issues pertaining to city management – topics that require dynamic planning due to the ever-changing nature of environmental requirements.

Zuber is excited about the success of previous user group meetings and is looking forward to the potential benefits of this October 12th meeting. “Our goal with these user group meetings is to create a better, simpler management system for cities to collaborate on CIP Projects,” Zuber said. “We look at these meetings as opportunities to gain some valuable feedback from our users while also addressing some important concerns in the realm of city and county projects.”

The group meeting will take place at the La Mesa Police Station, located at 8085 University Avenue in La Mesa, California. Lunch will be provided to those in attendance beginning at 12:30pm, so please RSVP by contacting Lex Zuber at (760) 249-4879 or at lex@virtual-pm.com.
